Rond La Zenia staan veel bungalows en villa's met gedeelde zwembaden en terrassen. We hangen er vaak tv's op, monteren planken en vervangen kranen voor eigenaren die net verhuisd zijn.

La Zenia is the newest-built of our eight areas and the one with the shops. Most of it went up in the building years either side of 2000, and La Zenia Boulevard, the big shopping centre the whole coast drives to, sits on its edge.
Around La Zenia there are many bungalows and villas with shared pools and terraces, and a steady turnover of owners moving in. We often mount TVs, hang shelves and pictures, build flat-pack furniture and replace taps for people settling into a place they have just bought. Being newer, the fittings are largely of one generation, so the same handful of jobs comes up again and again in different houses.
La Zenia is part of Orihuela Costa, along with Cabo Roig, Playa Flamenca, Villamartín and Los Dolses. All five are in our core area, so there is no travel charge to any of them. The Boulevard brings the whole coast here, so the roundabouts around it are busy through the summer.
