What Playa Flamenca is like
Playa Flamenca is built more tightly than its neighbours and mostly in rows: it has the highest concentration of townhouses grouped into large communities of owners of any area we cover, so a great deal of what happens to a building here is decided by a committee and a calendar.
Inside those rows the jobs repeat. Shutter straps, mosquito nets and air-conditioning cleaning are our most common work here, especially in the weeks before summer when everyone wants the same three things done at once. With so much shared — roofs, party walls, stairwells, pools — where an owner's decision ends and the community's begins is a question we get asked here more than anywhere else.
Playa Flamenca is in Orihuela Costa, between Cabo Roig and Villamartín, and is in our core area with no travel charge. The Zoco commercial centre and its weekly market sit in the middle of it, which is where most people here do their shopping.
