Plumber: repairs and replacements
The hard water on this coast wears out taps, cisterns, water heaters and silicone. We find leaks and replace what is worn. Common jobs have a fixed price that you see before you book.
What we do
- New kitchen and bathroom taps and mixers
- Toilets that keep running or won't flush, or a whole new toilet
- Leaks under sinks and around toilets found and fixed
- Electric water heaters (termo) replaced
- Old, mouldy silicone around showers and baths replaced
- Blocked sinks and drains cleared, and bad smells in a home left empty
- Shower heads and valves blocked by limescale cleaned or replaced
- Washing machines and dishwashers connected

Fixed prices
The price you see is the price for the work, plus VAT. Parts are charged at cost, or use your own.
- Replace a tap or mixer €40 + parts Kitchen or bathroom. We fit the new tap and take the old one away.
- Toilet cistern mechanism €70 parts included Toilet keeps running or won't flush? We replace the fill valve or flush mechanism.
- Unblock a sink or drain €40 Kitchen sink, basin, shower or bath draining slowly or blocked? We clear it and check the water runs away freely.
- Reseal shower or bath €50 Old, mouldy silicone removed and new anti-mould silicone applied. Silicone included.
Something else? We come and look for free, then give you a fixed price. We always agree the price before we start.
Common questions
Who pays for parts and materials?
Parts are charged at the price on the receipt, with no mark-up. If you prefer, you can buy the parts yourself and we fit them.
How soon can you come?
Regular jobs: usually within a few days. Emergencies, such as a leak or a burst pipe: we come as soon as we can, day or night, often the same day. Urgent and night-time visits, and visits on Sundays and public holidays, cost an extra 25% of the job price (minimum €25), which we tell you before we come. We will always tell you honestly when we can come.
What if something goes wrong after the job?
Our work has a 90-day guarantee. If something we fixed fails because of our work, we come back and fix it for free.
